Plain-English summary: We collect the minimum needed to run your account and your bookings. We don’t sell your data. You can access or delete it anytime.

1. What we collect

Account info: your email address (for sign-in) and any business name/phone you add.
Booking data you create: units, prices, dates, notes, and the customer details you enter (name, phone, address) to manage your rentals.
Customer requests: if a customer uses your booking link, the details they submit.
Technical data: basic logs and cookies/local storage needed to keep you signed in and run the app.

2. How we use it

To provide and operate the Service, authenticate you, save your bookings, process your subscription, and provide support. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run BounceDesk, who process data only on our behalf:

Supabase — database and authentication (stores your account and booking data).
Netlify — website and app hosting.
Stripe — payment processing (handles card details; we never see full card numbers).

4. Customer data you enter

When you enter your customers’ details, you are the controller of that data and responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it. We process it on your behalf to provide the Service.

5. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we remove it within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it for legal or accounting reasons.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. To exercise these rights, email support@bouncedesk.net. Depending on where you live (e.g., EU/UK/California), you may have additional rights under laws like GDPR or CCPA.

7. Security

We use reputable providers and security controls (including database row-level security so operators can only access their own data). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Cookies & local storage

We use only essential cookies/local storage required to keep you signed in and run the app. We don’t use advertising trackers.

9. Changes

We may update this policy and will note the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated to you.
